contem.ucha 3.0 opening programme
I was thinking of starting this blog for almost three years now and although nearly everyone has their own place in the Internet these days I couldn’t decide until now. But let’s just give it a try. It will be dedicated to the contemporary music series (contem.ucha) we are running in Philharmonic in Lodz (Poland) and to contemporary music in general I think. And as I have no idea how to start (typical, isn’t it? ;-) and I definitely don’t feel like writing about ‘the history’ now, I will just start. ;-)
2010/2011 season had it’s opening last Friday but for the first contemporary concert we have to wait until October 15th. We will start with a small Lithuanian project. It might be obvious for some that the one who came along with this idea was Michał Mendyk (Glissando magazine, 4.99 Foundation). As a big Lithuanian music enthusiast he convinced me that this music is worth showing. Next days I will write more about the details and I will upload some music as well. Now I will just take some rest before next working week. Monday’s here again…
